its mardi gras here in mobile and the local marijuana activist group contacted me about month ago to see if my company would sponsor their efforts to rally on joe cain day. joe cain day is a mardi gras event held on a sunday and is basically for adults only. kids can go but its best they don't. i declined the offer because i don't do the marijuana activist thing. my reasons being that they are usually nothing but the exact kind of people that stereo type everyone who smokes weed. as you can see from this picture my reasons are well founded. my sister took this picture. she told them who she was and they gave her a hard time because i refused to sponsor them. they quickly changed their tune when my brother in law, who happens to be a ex gang member showed up with some of our friends. my sister said they all looked like chris,my bro in law, had harshed their buzz........ ;D what do these people not understand about appearance? no one is going to take serious a bunch of burned out pot heads who dress the part. the only thing missing was the obligatory guy with dirty dread locks, hemp parka and a dr.seuss hat on.

oh and for the record...........mardi gras started in mobile not new orleans. new orleans is modeled after mobile even in its architecture.
our mardi gras just isn't as fun since they tend to throw you in jail for every little offense. no free boobies here. you lift your shirt up and they put you under the jail.

wiggy she is showing just how much marijuana has made her stomach skin silky soft. or she is showing the belly she got from years of the munchies.
you know shee it wouldn't be a bad idea if they did dress a bit more formal. i'm being serious too. to me its the equivalent of a ufo rally for disclosure where you see so many freaks dressed up in their favorite start trek and star wars character. they are doing more damage to the cause then good.
so this tells me just like those ufo rallies that the people involved don't really take their cause serious and are only doing it for the bragging rights.

I can see by that pic that its not in a good light but drex man, making them statements about tokers is just so much of a generalisation it grates me when you come out with them. Where are the sixties hippys now, theyre the bank managers & bosses of today, my dad is wealthy & successful & has smoked weed all his life. Anyone can get a picture of a few tramps smoking weed & say look at these,! the solicitors & people of high society that i know that manage it daily dont conform to that picture. I think the problem actually lies with the individual, some are more open to mental health problems & dressing like the 70's but in this day and age how the fuck has anyone got the right to stop millions of people smoking a HERB ?

There must be many non smokers that wear these cloths, lets just blame the manufacturers or is it the way they wear them draped not dapper.Any who higher wage earners (Bankers Etc) dabble in more expensive drugs i believe.I say if it is medical then it should be free considering the amount we pay in Tax and Health care, after all prescribed drugs cost Tens of Thousands of our currencies so we are told ! ! !
