OMG! Soldierboy...they can run that fast? A spider the size of a softball and hairy? I would go hysterical!
I wonder if the camo moth is a sign of things to come after watching that video Drex found of the G-20 arrests!

Do you want to hear a story about spiders? well, in a junk yard in iraq. I was lifting hoods and fenders looking for a good hood, I lifted a hood and out RUNS this thing called a Camel spider! if you have ever seen one it would creep you out. it was the size of softball all hairy with long legs. I jumped on the hood of the Humvee I came in and screamed like a little girl! Now, I'm a Sergeant and not really a small guy and the privet that was driving laughed so hard he cried. that was hard to live down man. very aggressive little bastards, they can run up to 30 mph. only good thing is, they are NOT poisonous. icky. HaHa!!!

On my birthday as I sat outside this really cool moth landed on me and hung out on my hand and arm for almost 45 minutes! I even made him a box full of grass and dirt hoping he would nest himself in. Next day he wasn't in the box anymore so I dumped his little bed and brought in the box. Well guess what? Later that day the guy was back on my back porch so I once again made him a little home and took him into my room. Poor little thing didn't make it, seems his body began to detach at the "rings" I have never seen a species like this in Missouri or anywhere else for that matter, I looked it up on the internet and found two species that it could be, either an Oleander or Lime Moth. Any ideas, or has anyone else seen one like this? The camouflage coloring was very perfected I thought! The little guy let me pet him and everything, when I first put him in the box he even climbed on flaps back onto my hand! I guess it was a present from the universe~ the Pandora Sphinx Mothkozmicdreams.com/sphinx.htm

Bugmenot~ Excellent........that looks exactly like it........I will do a bit of research to see where these moths are native to. Nice pic, lots of detail. I sure wish the little fella hadn't of died, probably cause I handled it too much~
