I have a custom fender p w / a jazz neck , 2 old kramer xl 8 - 8 string basses, a bc rich mockingbird, and a hamer standard (looks like an explorer) and my rig is an old gallien krueger rb 1000 w/ a alesis midiverd3 for effects with a wirelessunit and a harke 8 10 cabinet ...Its like plugging into thunder! lol Wow shatnerswig you have got some great gear there. I have a Mendez 6 string bass, Ashton 5 string bass and a 4 string Aria pro 2 bass and I plug straight into the front of house. My electric guitars are a Legacy (SG Gibson copy), an Epic (Les Paul copy), a LTD, a Legend (Tele copy) and a Pacifica. I didn’t even know that you could get a 8 string bass. The neck must be huge. When I first got the 6 string it was like playing a log, lol.

I have this tattooed on my shoulder, and I willtell you why. I left school in 85, a bit......well a lot.....aimless. Soon after I discovered the Ramones and punk rock, this lead me to the thriving Sydney punk rock scene, where I proceeded to spend the next 25 years, seeing bands, meeting cool people. I met my wife at a gig. We sed to spend Thursday to sunday just seeing as many bands as possible, had the time of our lives. Everything I am today, I am because of those times and that music. Cool that you mention this. I was a Sex Pistol and Clash fan in the early 80's. They set the tone for my life at the time and guided me towards culinary school of all things.

Music is the stuff of Life. Slith you got to try the ukulele its such fun and easy once you get into it, I strum mine when leaning on the local lamp post, the cats and dogs then wail.

I lived in Moscow for 2 years at a young age, and have tried the balalaika. Kind of like a Russian banjo. I'm not musically inclined. I'll stick to food. lol
