I wish I had your guys talent with music. That is awesome shit. Really, really awesome slith playing music or listening to music is all the same in the sence that its moving in so many different ways, the main thing is just to enjoy it and never play james blunt or coldplay or any other sad music when you are feeling down, its at them times that a song can rip the heart to pieces, trust me,iv been there 3 times Very true words there my friend. Nice points. Yeah, me too man, sucks at times, but we both have overcome many issues, to say the least. Music is a way to bring us back. Sometimes the soft stuff brings out the emotions so you can deal with it. It did for me. Many tears, but it helped get it out of my system. Music is the way to the soul, and at times a way to cleanse it. For me anyways. Peace Man

Peace Man yeh man,we can only move forward, but music has a great way of taking you to places and times in the past or when you first heard a song and the memories stick but there are songs now that i can hear but not so long ago i would brake down just hearing the first few intro sounds, lol but all is good now and onwards we go ;D

yup me too ...semi pro bass player ..... music is a very powerful thing listening to it and playing it! there were times in the past playing out live infront of alot of people where odd things would happen...like the music was altering the people in the audiences.. mood one time a band I was in at the time was playing in a large club good crowd we started playing a cover of an old judas priest song and most of the girls in the audience began to act odd like they were becoming hypnotized or something swaying back & forth like they were in a trance and then began to take their tops off ... I'm not joking .... It was cool ...but at the same time really wierd how they were acting .....like the music was influencing them to act sexually ! this was the only time this happened when playing this song.... some of them even jumped up on stage and started to dance around us top less ... as we played... It reminded me of like one of those old horror movies where a cult is performing a pagan ritual .... with all the naked girls dancing around the fire before a sacrifice.... strange.. strange strange...anyway after that night I have always wondered If actual musical notes and pitches put in a certian order can alter moods or the subconcience mind ... after all music is just a bunch of soundwaves , frequencies and occillations put together to form a song....besides the overall coolness of the boobfest... their behavior was definatly altered by something... I just wish I could reproduce this event over and over and over lol!!!! serously though this is a true story. have any of you guys had any similar experiences playing out live? Cool shatnerswig, I am playing 6 string bass in the band I'm in at the moment. And for sure music does something to people.

I have this tattooed on my shoulder, and I willtell you why. I left school in 85, a bit......well a lot.....aimless. Soon after I discovered the Ramones and punk rock, this lead me to the thriving Sydney punk rock scene, where I proceeded to spend the next 25 years, seeing bands, meeting cool people. I met my wife at a gig. We sed to spend Thursday to sunday just seeing as many bands as possible, had the time of our lives. Everything I am today, I am because of those times and that music.
