Music has always been part of my life. It is fantastic in all aspects. I remember seeing U2 at Wembley back in the early 80's. I loved the show. Life changes dictate how we listen to music. Some cry, some rock to it, some just go with the flow. Being an older member here, I think (45 years old), music has always gotten me through life. Certain songs carry me. Wesley put up one from Fort Minor that brought back very powerful memories. Green Day's September Ends was powerful. U2 at Live Aid, at the Superbowl. Shit like that, y'know When I drive to work every morning I put on really good stuff and blast it. Sets the mood for the day. Amazing how this gets us through life.

Yeah Slith, music has ruled my life. Started playing guitar at ten, I'm now 46. I love it all, classical, jazz, blues and rock and a lot in between. I know what you mean to be moved by music. Here's one that all ways lifts me.

Wes, the vid is not available in my country. WTF! I'm amazed you cats all play instruments. Actually, I knew you did Wes, cause I saw your vid. But Brill and Dboy, I never knew. wow! I never would have thought there was a common bond like that on here. Very cool!!!!!! I don't play anything, unfortunately, but do have a deep appreciation for those who do. Music is a beautiful thing.

yup me too ...semi pro bass player ..... music is a very powerful thing listening to it and playing it! there were times in the past playing out live infront of alot of people where odd things would happen...like the music was altering the people in the audiences.. mood one time a band I was in at the time was playing in a large club good crowd we started playing a cover of an old judas priest song and most of the girls in the audience began to act odd like they were becoming hypnotized or something swaying back & forth like they were in a trance and then began to take their tops off ... I'm not joking .... It was cool ...but at the same time really wierd how they were acting .....like the music was influencing them to act sexually ! this was the only time this happened when playing this song.... some of them even jumped up on stage and started to dance around us top less ... as we played... It reminded me of like one of those old horror movies where a cult is performing a pagan ritual .... with all the naked girls dancing around the fire before a sacrifice.... strange.. strange strange...anyway after that night I have always wondered If actual musical notes and pitches put in a certian order can alter moods or the subconcience mind ... after all music is just a bunch of soundwaves , frequencies and occillations put together to form a song....besides the overall coolness of the boobfest... their behavior was definatly altered by something... I just wish I could reproduce this event over and over and over lol!!!! serously though this is a true story. have any of you guys had any similar experiences playing out live?
