Talking of sound. My lap top has this weird click, more like the sound of a page turning. Its more pronounced when my cam is on then it sounds like aliens are tuning in and trying to talk haha but the everyday click noise is very faint but noticeable. Any idea's guys?? WHEN YOUR CAM IS ON? SINNER!

Nope thats not the noise Im hearing. Im almost sure its not my hard drive. The noise from the laptop itself is VEY faint noice, just sounds like a page is getting turned. While my cam is on I can not hear the 'other' noise at all, who ever Im talking too can though, my dad said it sounds simular to radio signals?? Sory Im not describing it to good.

Don't take this the wrong way but my computer changes sound when it needs a vacuum about once a year. It is mostly the fans, power supply, cooling and if you have one a processor fan. I keep a hand held vacuum nearby not because I'm a mucky pup but because I have a Cocker My speakers have just recently started to make a feedback/crackling sound at a certain volume setting (no sound). Also only noticeable when playing some music or films dependent on there arrangement or composition. I will start a process of elimination soon unless someone has a bright idea as the only thing new about my set up (Which is simple) is a cam that is not plug into the USB because I don't want to be viewed when I'm not using it by the all seeing Internet EYE ! ! !

Not offended RC, I know what you mean as I have to hover my my normal pc in my office at least once a month, the stacking unit is on the floor so sucks in all the dust. The noise is coming from my laptop.
