I rarely catch these events live, unfortunately Drex, I did catch the Lawal fight and the KJ Noons fight when I responded to you. Hadn't seen the Lashley fight though. Man did he gas. And when I saw the fear in his eyes when he saw his own blood, I figured it was over. To much muscle mass and the oxygen depletion took it's toll. The Noons knockout was awesome, but the referee was tentative and I didn't think the knee was necessary.

plus.........the knee came BEFORE the stoppage. i'm with the commentator on this one.......just have big john or herb dean ref them all. the week before when they had the womens tourney the refs were less than spectacular. ufc has its ref issues but strikeforce can't afford them right now. noons wasn't being dirty. hell the only reason it happened was because he paused thinking the ref should stop the fight. hard to imagine what more the ref needed to see.
lashley.....will someone please tell him that in fighting you might get a bobo and that bobo might bleed. how the hell do you make it to the big stage then freak out over being cut?
i think king mo showed every fighter he may face in the future about 10 different way to beat him. it took him 7 fights to become the champ. i don't think the road back to a championship will be as easy the second time around.

No I didn't think the knee was illegal either, just Gurgel was out of it already and Noons even called the ref to stop it. Indecision like this by referees in boxing have led to fatal results. I'd hate to see this happen in MMA.
What makes me laugh, is Lashley actually having the balls to call out Fedor a few weeks before this fight. His talent does not back up his ego.
Lawal, I actually compared to Jon Jones. Not style wise, just that they would be the next LHW's to make a huge impact. Jones still is undefeated in my books, Lawal has a lot of work to do.
Edgar, Penn next. What do you think? As much as I hate him. I think Penn will rebound and take a close decision

it's always hard to bet against penn. on any given night he has the skill set to beat anyone who steps in the ring with him. like with so many though you have to ask "which fighter will show up?"

Poor bobby, it was never like this in WWE, I hope Dave Bautista was watching that, Bobby has a great amateur wrestling backround, Bautista has nothing.
