any of you grow your own herbs? i'm thinking about giving it a try.
also.......which ones should i grow?

Basil, sage, marjoram and oregano have always been the easiest for me to grow. I did have a chocolate mint plant a few years back that was pretty cool. Warning!!! Cilantro is my favorite herb, but it spreads like a weed on steroids. Unless you don't mind your lawn completely covered in it, you might want to buy this one from the store

Ok just to sound gay.
I grow Basil and Sage. Honestly cant beat the flavour of fresh Basil.
Whatever you plant though. I would recommend planting them in pots or raised beds. To avoid them spreading like weeds. Mint is the worst for this.
The one thing you've got to check though. No matter what you plant, look up what type of soil they like. It really does make a big difference.

yup basil oregano dill sage just put them in pots and keep em watered and in the sun its easy in the winter if it gets cold you can bring them inside and have fresh all year long

Erbs you say... Seriously though what do you want 'em for? Rosemary, thyme, dill, parsley, mint if you want and Basil Some are good with steak like parsley or basil...some with salmon like Dill...etc...etc...I like Thyme with steak...

duck i'm just tired of watching cooking shows and them saying use fresh herbs. all i ever have is the dried kind from the store. thanks guys for the ideas on which ones to grow. wiggy......wiggy........wiggy. i'm gay for wanting sushi and here you are mr.greenjeans growing your own herbs.

Yeh you can't beat the real thing, I can almost here Jones shouting in the background "Go Organic" lol not sure if I've ever noticed any organic herbs anywhere, not that I've looked.
