Fedor lost to Fabricio Werdum via triangle choke in 69 seconds. Who woulda thunk? Fedor never loses. WTF! Cung Lee proved the last fight was a glitch and kicked the snot out of Scott Smith in the second round. This guy is the real deal. Wow!

fedor's famed power was his downfall in this fight. when he knocked down werdum he thought he was hurt. in reality his was off balance and fedor caught him with a grazing blow. fedor and his blood in the water instincts went rushing in for some ground and pound and never worried about getting a steady position. you can't do that with a top notch brazillian jujitsu artist unless you know damn sure he is really hurt.
fedor has good ground skills so he knew better. tapping from a triangle choke is not something a fighter of his skills lets happen.
smith said he wanted to prove the knockout of lee. problem is he forgot that he had his ass beat for the better part of 3rnds before catching lee who was gassed out. in the early part of the 1rnd it looked like smith had the perfect game plan. he rushed lee and help him on the cage to render 99% of lee's arsenal. unfortunately for smith lee used that 1% to break free and keep smith at a distance. from there lee made smith pay every time he got lose. cung lee is back.

I am still stunned by this. I know everyone has to lose eventually, but by a guy that has a name that sounds like a perfume brand. C'mon

I am pretty sure they will rematch. This time Fedor wins by brutal beat down.
I think it might be good for him slith. A chance for him to prove he is still in love with fighting and not just doing it for the money. Played right he launch himself to even greater heights. Who knows...he may make that agreement with the UFC to prove it.
