This satellite tracking station in the Northern Territories of Australia is a US base and some clever fellow has worked out that the famous vid of an unidentified flying object in the upper atmosphere of Earth was shot at by a plasma cannon at this location! (see vid). It does appear that if you can track satellites and other objects defense against them would be usefull especially if said satellite, was out of control and about to crash into a populated area.
This Film suggests a space war.

My instincts tell me there is indeed a space war going on........... Think you are in tune there Lucid, that Particle beam, Plasma bolt or whatever, was nothing friendly directed into outer space. Glad I dont have to pay for the electricity bill to charge up the cannon.

DarrylMckay knows abit about this place and its a shame he hasnt been on for a couple of days! I know nothing about Pine Gap, and will deny to anyone that I ever said I did, even under torture. Pine gap is a strange place, no one has ever revealed what goes on there. Officially, it is an American "listening" post, monitoring all satelite transmissions in the Asia/ Pacific region. Unofficially it has been the site of some very good ufo sightings, but it is a very hard place to get close too.

I had to smile on the last video because the Dog in shot seemed to be able to roam about without much attention, so that is how to get into the base, disguised as a canine!

About 5000 miles Ards, look at a map of Aust, I am on the east coast, Pine Gap is roughly in the centre, surrounded by, well nothing really, just a great big desert.

Damn and we were going to have a whip round for your expenses, paid to go trek up there and suss the place out sort of roving reporter style, but as budget doesnt extend to a camel train its a no goer...shame.
