This was Emma, one of the very first to emerge from the Apple Store, and gleeful to be having her five minutes of fame. I like how one of the first things she did with her iPad was risk smashing it.



Here's Jake, 17, and the first person to have bought the iPad. He was camping outside the store overnight to secure his place at the front of the queue. Hope he got permission from his mum.

Yeah Concrete it's crazy. Same thing here in Australia, people slept out side of the shop all night so they didn't lose they place in line.

what has happened to society ...... people used to camp out for things that had meaning like ac/dc concert tickets .. or if in the old ussr ... food ... this i pad is the devils work . judgement day is near .. the quickening people ...revelation ... in the last days the 13th seal was opened and a spiderweb saw spun to the pad with an eye as the 4 horsmen ride booggedy boogetdy boo .lol

yea you know jake should have been a little more alert while in line cause it seems emma has a very perky rack ... he should have been leaving the store with her instead of the i pad now his nerdy ass is never going to get any ......
