i watched when it aired earlier and i had rogers knocking overeem out. then overeem entered the cage. he was fucking massive. i've never seen him like this. i'm sure they did a steroids test and i'm not saying overeem is using them he just had so much more muscle mass than he ever had.
his strength was unreal. he threw the heavier rogers across the ring like he weighed 120lbs. then beat him senseless on the ground until the fight was stopped.
rogers last fight was with fedor and even though he lost his stock went up because he hurt fedor.
right now i have seen enough from overeem to say he has the power and skill to beat fedor in the same manner. overeem has to be considered the second best heavyweight in the world so if he beat fedor then he will hold the title. brock couldn't handle overeem.

Alistair Overeem defended his Strikeforce belt at Strikeforce: Heavy Artillery in St. Louis tonight, TKO'ing Brett Rogers in the first round.
Overeem landed the first strike and then took the fight to the ground, controlling Rogers. He rained down strikes as Rogers turtled up. Referee John McCarty put a stop to the beating at 3:40 in the first round.
This is Overeem's first defense of his Strikeforce heavyweight belt since he won the belt in late 2007. He has fought several times, both kickboxing and MMA matches, since winning, but not a Strikeforce bout.
"It's been a while, but I'm back, and I'm not going nowhere," Overeem said after the fight. "I was in the best shape of my life."
After the bout, Strikeforce commentator Gus Johnson asked Overeem who he wanted to fight next, and Overeem answered Fedor Emelianenko. Emelianenko is under contract with Strikeforce, but his next bout is scheduled with Fabricio Werdum in June.
Since blasting his way onto the scene with 10 wins in a row, Rogers has fallen prey to both Fedor Emelianenko and Overeem.
