A little historical info about this chili. This recipe is adapted from a recipe of a friend of mine. His mom handed it down to him. This chili is exceptionally spicy. If you have a weak constitution this isn't for you
--------------------------------
4 bottles of The Source hot sauce (purchased from here the cheapest place I have found www.hotsauceworld.com/source.html)
3 bottles of Da' Bomb The Final Answer Hot sauce(same site)
1 dozen chipotle peppers
2 Dozen Jalapenos
10 cans of V8
10 Cans of Tomato Juice
3 cups of brown sugar
2 limes
19 8.oz cans of Kidney beans(drained)
6-7 Lbs. of Ground beef
2 dozen green onions ( not bunches just individual green onions)
2 lbs sharp cheddar
-----------------------------------------------------
In a big bowl mix 1/2 source,1/2 da bomb, all chipotles, all V8 & all tomato Juice. Let sit overnight ( or 8 hours) in the fridge.
Brown the ground beef in a skillet with the jalapenos added at the end. Next strain off the chipotles from the v8/tomato juice mix and discard chipotles. Pour the juice mixture the ground beef and jalapenos into a crock-pot/slow cooker add the kidney beans the rest of the source, and da bomb, the brown sugar, and the green onions. Squeeze the limes so that a bit of the pulp as well as the juice is added in to it Boil for 1 1/2 hours. serve with a bit of the cheese shredded.
