Those things have always amazed me, all different faces, were they modeled after real prople or were they just artistic expressions, either way they are amazing.

Don't know if they were modelled after real people, if they were, it would have been painstaking to say the least. I think there is a vid around about the strange moat that surrounds Chin's tomb. If I find it I'll post

Known as the 8th wonder of the world, the models of the soldiers are modelled after the soldiers of the period and were in many cases painstakenly restored. The faces and clothing differ some bearded, with hats, plated hair facial expressions, very impressive. I queued for ages in the 80's outside the Edinburgh museum to see some of the model army but unfortunately the closing time arrived and I missed my chance.

Are they real people replicas? I was in Edinburgh for a week. Missed the museum. Had I known?

I am sorry for this..........but you know what? I can't stand those terra cotta soldiers........there was this guy on ats that saw aliens in all images involving pixels, like his name was debris42 or something and he was always using pics and squares from the digital pixels to claim aliens were alive in all that ......So when he did that with the terra cotta soldiers he just ruined it for me~
Sorry to be a bitch............

Funny thing how I was flippant about the Terra Cotta Warriors and then I was checking out one of those come in the mail DVD's...This one was about the dead sea scrolls but they had a good segment of those terra cotta guys! So many of those old artifacts were destroyed it really is a treasure.
