loves me some Graham Hancock, but all these new sites being discovered all around the world are so abundant, specially since Lidar was introduced, but its Not Possible to get boots on the ground to do the work, there simply isnt enough researchers and skilled labour to uncover all these ancient ruins, add to that the lack of finance and interest from world leaders.

Alittle while back i watched a podcast with Joe Rogan and Graham Hancock where GH said that the Amazon was once riddled with amazing cities with a population of possibly 20,000000 people, something happened to these populations and the people disappeared, 50 yrs passes with no people and the Amazon jungle simply encroached the cities leaving them invisible under the forests canopy, but again Lidar has detected an amazing amount of large buildings/structures, especially in the last few yrs that take up large swathes of forest.

It was also said that the Amazon soil is shit, shit for growing crops, crops just wouldnt grow there, so the denizens of the Amazon created their own soil by adding stuff to it, cant remember what they added but if they didnt do this, the Amazons soil would have been infertile and unable to sustain crops.
