he fights tonight on strikeforce. he had left mma to make movies and i am hoping the movie curse doesn't take hold. fighters who make movies tend to get their ass kicked the first fight back.
manny seemed to break that curse so maybe cung lee can too. if you've never seen cung fight he is to me the baddest mma fighter on the planet. last fight he was in he broke frank shamrock's arm with kicks and for those who know mma frank is a legend and a far better fighter than ken his brother.

I saw his fight against Frank Shamrock. The moves this guy pulls off are unbelievable. I never realised he was 37 years old. Hopefully he still has it

i agree slith. those are not moves you'd expect in mma. i didn't know he was my age. makes sense though he was a champ in other non mma leagues for years.

holy mother of the fucking mma gods!!!!!!!!!!!!! the curse strikes again.
i think frank said it best in the second when smith was against the fence taking a pounding "i just had a flash of the rope a dope".
cardio cardio cardio...........when you make movies you forget about that. cung had the 3rd and the fight wrapped up but wore himself out and got careless.
way to go smith.......you never gave up man and that is what mma is all about.

Shit Drex, I just read up on it. Lee owned his ass for 2 rounds then gassed out. I'll have to check this out after work today. Wow!

he actually beat smith up worse in the third than all the other rounds.............then with about 1:30 left in the fight he gassed bad and smith caught cung just as he was starting to suck in some air and a shot with your mouth wide open is not good.
slith you'll love the fight. cung was awesome except for that getting knocked dingy thing.

Drex, that was a fucking amazing fight! Those spinning back kicks are incredible. If he'd had tried to keep Smith off him with front kicks in the last two minutes he would have won. I think he blew the last of his gas tank taking Smith down. I think he was going to try keep to him there for the remainder of the fight. Smith escaped, Le was spent, tried to be brave and ended up going out on his shield. He'll be back and hungry. I'd hate to be the next poor bastard in the ring with him. Bring the coffin!
Yeah, the K.O.s always put a damper on ones night.
