The periodic table of living things! Like the periodic table of elements! Life/existence/ living and reproducing cellular structures are subject to mathematical rules. Just like one atom of hydrogen! Hydrogen is a chemical element with the symbol H and atomic number 1. With just one proton and one electron, it is the most common element, making up 75% of the mass of the entire universe. The same rules will apply to life. (Work in progress) There will be a matrix which will describe all life. On Earth and in the universe. A simple mathematical description which will predict every possible adaption given any set of circumstances! Add your thoughts?

A simple mathematical description which will predict every possible adaption given any set of circumstances! Add your thoughts? If you look at the periodic table and understand how nature uses common sense or a mathematical progression of basic particles from sub-atomic particles to build the different stable elements you will start to grasp how that progression could continue to build and create more complex building blocks to work with. The driving force is symmetry! Ever more complex structures from the basic elements it started building with. Once you understand and grasp how and why those elements came into existence it's not a great leap of understanding to see that the process didn't stop there. TBC After a great deal of thought! On my periodic table of life the first of what I would considered to be life would be a compound (a thing that is composed of two or more separate elements; a mixture.) So as pure water (H2O) is an example of a compound: Maybe that was the begining of life and is the most basic form of life there can be? I will place water as the beginning of life in it's most basic form. (I must admit I never thought of water as being alive until this very moment) But the more I think of it I can see how and why it is? TBC

I think your thoughts about H20 are worth looking in to,as i believe the Ancients had the ability to split water in to it's components of Hydrogen and Oxygen, and use as a fuel source?..The links between Ancient sites and water are beyond pure aesthetic beauty in my opinion,i believe it had a functional purposes.!

The thing is I think, what is the difference between, what we consider, Life and Consciousness. Don't confuse consciousness and life. Life is life and may be conscious in ways we don't understand! Tree communicate with other trees when they are under attack by insects. They produce a pheromone/chemical that other trees can interpret and understand. After receiving the pheromone/chemical they produce a poison in their leaves that kills or deters the attacking insect. Awareness is a matter of perspective. We can't understand what dolphins say to each other? But I'm sure you would agree they are intelligent! Bacteria communicate with each other! I bet that comes as a surprise to you? If something can receive a communication it implies it is self-aware! Don't you agree? Don't believe me? science.howstuffworks.com/life/cellular-microscopic/bacteria-communication.htmlink
