A bizarre snake has got people around the world baffled - because no one knows exactly what it is.
The bright-green slimy creature was seen slithering across a concrete floor at a port in Penghu, Taiwan.
Measuring approximately three feet in length, the jelly-like worm wiggled slowly along the ground before extending a huge tongue from what appeared to be its mouth.
The odd-looking pink tongue stretched for several inches, looping round on itself several times as it searched for food.
Viewers across the world have been baffled by the luminous green creature, although some believe it is most likely to be a ribbon worm.
Ribbon worms are usually quite small, with most growing to approximately 20cm in length - however the biggest ever measured was a whopping 54 metres.

Looks more like a Worm than a Snake to me. Could be a ribbon worm using proboscis. worm projects a slimy net onto the man’s hand! It’s called a proboscis and the worm keeps that inside its body until it forcefully squeezes out the appendage to catch small animal prey. Kyle Hill from the Nerdist Blog explains: link
