this saturday night is going to be good.
meathead vs darkness!!! I can't stand matt mitione so i am hoping big baby or darkness as he likes to be called will snatch his fucking arm off and take it home with him.
but the real fight to look for is the one between kimbo slice and houston alexander. these two are a perfect matchup. they both love to stand and throw knucks. i love kimbo and i hope he wins but alexander can also throw kicks and knees and that may be the deciding factor. of course one punch from kimbo can have you pissing in a metal pan for a week but either way its the best fight of the night to me.
if alexander decides to actually have a gameplan look for him to work kimbo's knees with leg kicks. it was revealed during the show that kimbo has deterioration in his knees which makes him arthritic. if kimbo elects to get a cortisone shot he could suffer some serious damage to his knee and won't know it until it either blows out completely or after he sits down between rounds......of course the chances of this fight lasting past the first round is highly unlikely.
then you have the championship fight.
roy big country nelson against brendan schaub. i really could care less who wins this fight even though i am not much of a roy nelson fan. schaub exposed the fact marcus jones, big baby, has no chin and roy won all his fights by slapping his fat ass stomach down on people's faces.

fight recap..........
big baby got knocked out............chin is just too weak.
houston did nothing in the fight but try and work kimbo's knee with kicks..........he refused to engage at all in the first round except for little leg kicks. second round kimbo chased him down and slammed his ass all over the ring. houston got one tremendous kick to the knee in and it floored kimbo...........again houston did not take advantage as kimbo looked like he wasn't going to be able to stand.
3rd round........kimbo's knee is hurting and it shows. he still goes after houston and has some great exchanges but houston would run away after a few shots.
kimbo won by unanimous decision. fight went as i expected except for 2 things houston running scared and causing it to go 3 rounds.
roy nelson was getting his ass kicked by schaub until he got in one big shot that put schaub to sleep.
roy showed he had a sense of humor by walking to the octagon to the parody of michael jackson's "i'm bad" by weird al called "i'm fat".

Yeah I just caught all of that. Good shit. If Kimbo can get it down to 205 and get his knee fixed (somehow, I know it's arthritic) he could be fun to watch. Maybe he and Chuck could finally lay it down. Roy is your everyday kind of guy, but tough as nails and somehow comes through in the clutch most times.

slith i still am not sure how i feel about roy but one thing is for sure he is deceptively good. not sure how well he will do against the ufc fighters in the heavyweight division but he was the best out of the tuf guys hands down.
chuck has given all of us many great fights and i appreciate dana giving him another chance by coaching season 11 with tito......but to be honest chuck's prime days are behind him. he'll probably win his fight with tito but that will only lead to a severe beatdown by someone else. he'll probably want to seel revenge on all those who have knocked him out but a evans or jackson will just put him to sleep again.
kimbo and chuck would be an interesting fight. chuck sure as hell wouldn't run. if chuck is smart if he does beat tito again he'll seek the fight with kimbo and stay away from the others.

Chuck against Ortiz yet again. Yawn! Seeing how they are now the coaches for season 11 of TUF. Now I'll put this out there just for debate. Kimbo is invited in as a guest coach and all hell breaks loose. I can see it happening, number one, for ratings, number two cause Kimbo and Chuck really dislike each other and number three, with Ortiz you never know what your gonna get. If I was a producer on this show I would sure as hell do this. Dynamic and explosive is an understatement. Would be really fun to watch

chuck and kimbo dislike each other? i haven't ever heard that one. i know dana and chuck both dogged kimbo out when he first joined that other mma show and lost but he earned dana's respect after dana actually met him and realized he was a decent guy who truly wanted to learn.

Yeah they disike each other or used to anyways. They each called the other out a year or so ago.

ohhhhh ok that was during the kimbo dark days when dana and chuck did not respect kimbo. i am sure chuck has more respect for him now as dana does. they thought he was just a backyard thug fighter who was getting too much attention. they didn't know at the time that kimbo wasn't happy with fighting in a main event as fast as the other organization made him. he felt uncomfortable being a headliner without earning it.
