Global Climate Change: The Earth Has Shifted, Say Inuit EldersA new warning has come to NASA from the Inuits. They are warning that the change in climate is not due to global warming but rather, because of the Earth shifting a bit. The Inuits are local people that live in the Arctic regions of Canada, the United States and Greenland. They are excellent weather forecasters and so were their ancestors. Presently they are warning NASA that the cause of change in weather, earthquakes etc, are not due to global warming as the world thinks They state that the earth has shifted or “wobbled”. “Their sky has changed!” he elders declare that the sun rises at a different position now, not where it used to previously. They also have longer daylight to hunt now, the sun is much higher than earlier, and it gets warmer much quickly. Other elders across the north also confirmed the same thing about the sky changing when interviewed. They also alleged that the position of sun, moon and stars have all changed causing changes in the temperature. This has also affected the wind and it is very difficult to predict the weather now and according to them predicting weather is necessary on Arctic. All the elders confirmed that the Earth has shifted, wobbled or tilted toward the North. This information provided by the Inuit Elders has caused a great concern in the NASA scientists. A recent video provides tangible proof of what the Intuit Elders have been saying all along. Our magnetic north and south poles have been moving along very swiftly, especially in recent years. It is hypothesized that one of these poles will end up somewhere near the Bermuda Triangle and the South Atlantic anomaly when the flip occurs. It is not yet understood what this means for humanity, but I’m quite sure this would, at the very least, affect all migratory animals and insects, along with all compasses and GPS systems and satellites, thus affecting all airlines, cars, and maps that rely on that technology. Magnetic records have revealed that the last magnetic pole shift occurred approximately 780,000 years ago while a magnetic pole shift, on average, occurs once every 200,000 to 300,000 years. When any animal or insect is affected by a major change or mass die off, we’re ALL affected. One of the lessons we came here to experience is how to learn from the cycles of time. Unfortunately, we don’t have any records of what happened 780,000 years ago and how it affected mankind, along with all other living species on this planet. While I can understand why the magnetic poles relocating would affect compass bearings and probably the in-built navigation systems of migratory birds and cetaceans, I do not understand why satellites and associated navigation systems which rely on them should be disturbed. The satellites' orbits will remain the same. It's only the magnetic poles that are moving. I suppose most airports will have to re-designate their runway headings; hardly a major inconvenience.
What the Inuit Elders are saying is a completely different subject. Their conviction that the planet has shifted very slightly on its axis is based on their observation over a long time and should be listened to, not that there is a lot we can do about it. If, as they say, the planet has tipped a bit and, as a result, their summers are coming earlier and their period of winter darkness has shortened, then I would expect an opposite effect in Antarctica. But, as it is only the military and scientific community who get to spend much time living down there, would we ever be told, assuming they even noticed in the first place.
My money is on the Inuit Elders being right and if the Earth's wobble is, for whatever reason, reducing, then the climate will eventually stabilise, after a brief period of chaotic change, and seasonal differences will be markedly reduced. Not such a bad thing is it?
Mind you, I'm an ol' fart, so this sort of stuff just makes my last years more interesting and even exciting. You youngsters may not find it so amusing in thirty to forty years time.... or it may even be fantastic here on our little planet. It all depends on whether humankind adapts or goes under. We usually adapt.
Sorry, end of waffling dialogue.

The Earth wobble, which the Inuit are documenting, takes the form of a Figure 8, which Nancy has often documented in her Orbits section. A Figure 8 will place the view of the Sun not just high and low, at various times, but also from a tilted position to one side or the other. This is the Sun moving in a snakelike fashion, during the day, and depending upon where one is on the globe it will either too high in the sky or too low, or too far to the east or too far to the west. What one sees from their position on the globe will be different for sunrise than for sunset, etc. We suggest those puzzling over this take a moment to research all the Figure 8 documentation that Nancy has collected over the years, taking into account the azimuth and altitude where the Sun is viewed, as well as the viewers location and time of day. The Inuit observations came out in the news in November 25, 2009 on Isuma TV. Winning an award at a film festival, this small independent newscaster was given some press and was not suppressed. But the coverage that the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation will offer is far greater, in the realm of major media. What has changed, and will this information be given coverage elsewhere? The timing of this broadcast goes hand in hand, released on the same day, with another press article on the erratic position of the Sun and Moon. Can the fact that this formerly suppressed subject is given media attention on the same day- October 20, 2010 - be coincidence? It is not. Were one to look for the finger of the Puppet Master, pressing buttons to get the media to break the firm hold the cover-up has on such news, one need look no further. www.zetatalk.com/ning/30oc2010... poleshift.ning.com/profiles/bl... poleshift.ning.com/profiles/bl... poleshift.ning.com/profiles/bl... www.youtube.com/playlist?list... They are not searching for a primordial cause or an explanation of order and destiny, but instead are attempting to define their present which "the Eskimo never thinks much beyond" (Freuchen, 188). (Gubser, 190). This is illustrated in a Greenland Inuit creation myth in which three friends are curious about the size and shape of the earth. They go exploring and end up walking through the never-ending passages of a huge ice house for years and years. The sole friend who survives finally returns to his people and says, "The earth is simply a very big ice house," and then dies ((Howard and Norman, 83). This story illustrates the Inuit view of the world as their own small society and the view of that society as the world. It also teaches a sort of a lesson--that in trying to understand the ways of the world and the structure of what surrounds us, we always end up where we started--with ourselves and the people with whom we are familiar. For the Inuit, the world is made up only of the most basic, tangible, and presently occuring things. It seems that when the Inuit consider fundamental questions of their existence, they are more concerned with their relationships to other people and to themselves than with their place in the order of the universe. The Inuits realize that they cannot predict the future and at the same time they do not place importance on the past (Gubser, 191). In believing this, they have created a comfort level with the present that many modern, industrialized societies do not have. It is not that the Inuits do not have creation stories--it is that they place more importance on the events of the present than on the tales of the past. The life that they lead is very dangerous- -it is a constant struggle for food, shelter, and life--and it is controlled by unreliable supernatural forces (Balikci, 212). The Inuit explanation of afterlife, therefore, is used to define that place so that the people do not worry or even wonder about it. Death is not a place to fear but rather only a transition into something new (Freuchen, 193). Agelermiut and Agneriartarfik are two of the three worlds in the afterlife. While one is high in the sky and the other is very deep under the tundra, both are reserved for good hunters and women who have endured the pain of getting a tattoo. The third world, Noqumiut, is an underworld located just below the crust of the earth where everyone else goes to be perpetually hungry and lazy (Balikci, 213). The Inuit also give structure to the relations of the earth, sun, and moon. They think that the earth is flat and that beyond its edges is a great abyss. The sun, the stars, and the moon rotate around the earth, and their positions have an effect on hunting, weather, and navigation (Gubser, 193). But again, the Inuit do not define these places so that they can dream or worry about them. They are explained so that they can be understood and then set aside. The inability of the threats of past and future to control this culture are created and made possible by the Inuits' unusual and isolating way of life. Above all, the lives of the Inuits were controlled by their surroundings. Their harsh and isolating environment directly affected their social and political structures. This environment, while producing a unique culture, simultaneously created difficulties in determining the Inuits' origins. Like the environment that surrounds them, the surface of Inuit society appears very simple, but underneath both exist rich and complex structures. I'm thinking from a flat Earth perspective now Wes, I don't get this anymore ! How does the water stay on the surface ? all I can think is on a flat earth model the ice is melting, the circumference is getting bigger and land mass is moving with it.

If the Earth was flat there would have to be a wall around the edge to stop the water from spilling into space. When Ice melts the water level rises and covers the land.
