While not a fan of "rubbed" ribs, because I make them differently, my wife decided to make pork ribs the other day using a middle eastern rub. Of course, me being the sarcastic person I can be, pointed out that pork and middle east don't actually go together. Boy was I wrong. She used a mortal and pestle to ground down the cumin and coriander seeds and then added spices (she still wont tell me which ones), and let them sit over night. She baked them the next day and they were amazing. Melt in your mouth like. In cases like this, I enjoy being proven wrong

Stank/dirt type taste...or some thing like that cant put my finger on it. For that reason I use it with discretion. I do not know the recipe and it may be great. But the Cumin throws up a flag for me. All good on the rest.

sounds awesome, Shaggie don't like cumin too much (that don't sound right lol) I don't mind it but the coriander in any shape or form makes me want to throw up, cant stand it, but pork ribs nom nom nom
