Something struck me.
Years ago, I used to read Carlos Castenada. Before the books went really weird. One of the main tenants in his stories was that consciousness/power is located in the abdomen.

Interesting. Yeah Concrete I have read most of Castenada's books and I know what you mean. As a martial artist you are trained to deliver Chi through the hands, but the Chi is stored in the abdomen. The yin-yang must rise up to the hands. Tai Chi is a good art, among others, that can develop this flow of Chi.
