Hiya I'm extremely very new on here and previously thought to only read through the forums and not actually post myself.
However since having a look through I think I would actually like to know if anyone else has an opinion on this. I was raised to always ask questions and have an open mind. Suffice to say my dad is brillbilly and we have had many discussions involving the illuminati, end of world theories, conspiracies and a subject more relevant to my age and culture....terrorism.
It is on this subject that I put my question to you all and only ask that if it is found to be a ludicrous thought that you do not rebuke it too unkindly.
I find myself wondering if surely the easiest way to destabilise the western world would be to plan an efficient, thorough attack...the target to get rid of electricity.
I think that it would not take very long for the world we live in too fail completely and I confess that this theory came to me from a documentary I watched which scared the living daylights out of me about the suns solar flares. (and the effect it has on our electricity)
I recognise the point of terrorism is to provoke terror therefore killing innocent people at random has worked well in the past, I guess I'm thinking from a womans point of view. The one which would indirectly cause the least bloodshed on impact.
Does anybody else think this plausible....or not?

First off, Very well written ! There are many ways to produce electricity but a lack of would certainly destabilise the western world. Many people already live without electricity albeit impoverished and in predominately warmer climates. We could all live without electricity (I could live without the bills ;D) but the control that would be gained will only add to the problem of truth seeking. Yes plausible because they probably have already thought it through and many more ways of pulling the plug ! !

Ahh thanks I had given thought that there are people in the world that live without electricity, the amish through choice and the impoverished of course, however in this modern society that we live in living without electricity would, if done without warning or preparation, I fear cause more chaos than a single bomb on a train. And yes you're right, they most likely have thought through this possibility, and as I believe that the most atrocious terrorist acts of the last twenty years (also not specifically ruling out acts undertaken past this point, simply going on the time frame that I am most familiar with) have been orchestrated through our own governments they are probably most likely sitting back and watching whilst we destroy ourselves :/

My pleasure Yeah you know it, what am I going to do without my play station or X sphincter and where will I keep my Fridge Raiders Chaos they like, but the knock on affect of people thinking for themselves, not so good ! But I can always hope and it would depend on how people first find out it is not short term, then come to terms with curfews and the like ! !

Ha ha ha thats true enough....within all chaos there can be order I guess, but what will happen if those with power fly off in their NASA made air shuttles and make for another world and leave us all to it? Lol...it could happen.

I like your thought process. I live in Florida and was here when we got hit with two storms in two weeks. I watched as people scrambled for gas ànd supplies of course, but, never was there wide spread panic or riots etc. I actually saw a coming together of community. People helping others, people actually taking turns at non working traffic lights, instead of the usual me first attitude. Now the flip side is that it was only local and of course we knew that power was coming back soon( 2 weeks plus for my area). If it were wide spread, say the whole eastern seaboard etc. and would be down for months etc. it may not have gone as well. I am sure in such an event as massive as the whole east coast going dark,I am sure martial law would be declared and that would certainly cause riots and widespread unrest. Throw in mass media making a mountain out of a mole hill, throw in a false flag event or two and it would get worse before getting better.

Thank you. It's always reassuring to hear when a community comes together to help each other. I live in England, a couple hours drive from London and I can honestly say that if the same thing were to occur here I would not feel safe. Sure I would look out for my neighbours and would expect the same courtesy but I could not be sure how long that would last. It's why I have a chainsaw in my shed lol

I agree and of course it would depend on your location and community. Turning off the juice in whatever way that amuses them is Like Poll Tax in Britain, they would test it first and then bring it in under another guise, namely Council Tax which started where Housing Rates left off just to reach in no time at all where Poll Tax started ! !

hi stacey, great to see you air your view independent from me,but all the same on the same lines. As you know ya old dad has been banging on for years about the illuminati and the agenda for total world domination. If theres one thing i've tried to give you, then thats having the ability to see things from an open mind point of view,no religious dogma to dumb ya down. your worrie is our worries hun,and all we seek is the truth! You make a very valid point about the control of the electricity, but then again it brings in massive revenue for the power companies, they want us to keep feeding the meters and kept away from free energy. Glad you ask these question,as it shows you want clarification on subjects that trouble you. well done hun!. we just have to make the most of each day as we dont know for sure what tomorrow will bring, but if it's got anything to do with our puppet goverment ,then it's just more debt and loss of even more civil liberties, that the powers that be so need from us. Times are getting hard stacey, lol
