They should do a comparison of these and more recent use of skull binding used in like...Vanuatu. I don't think they'll find the single suture in the modern skulls though, and we've seen several elongated skulls with the single suture and the blood vessel port placing not in the regular spots.

I wonder what or who some of our ancient ancestors where trying to immitate? I think he is suggesting that these skulls are not imitation but are natural, either mutant or Alien.
