They should do a comparison of these and more recent use of skull binding used in like...Vanuatu. I don't think they'll find the single suture in the modern skulls though, and we've seen several elongated skulls with the single suture and the blood vessel port placing not in the regular spots.

Hard to tell wes as there's so many that are deformed due to bindings,hard to tell who's came first?
