What is going on off of the coast of Yemen?! There has been a tremendous number of earthquakes that began early during 14-Nov, 0630 UTC, and are ongoing at this moment. More than 30 moderate earthquakes ranging from magnitude 4.5 to 5.4 have rattled under the sea where the Gulf of Aden and the Red Sea meet at a point off of Yemen. The depths have been mostly around 10 km, with a few deeper. A closer look reveals something that appears highly unusual. That is, so far at least 20 of the earthquakes have been at a depth of exactly 10.0 km. I mean, exactly. What are the odds of that, spread across the affected region? This earthquake swarm is occurring right now, and is happening right in the middle of major oil and freight transit sea lanes, the busiest in the world. Stay tuned and check back for more details and graphics as this unfolds… --------------- Update, 15-Nov, 04:00 UTC, they just keep on coming, 39 by my last count (before calling it a night on the west coast and getting some shut-eye). Amazing. I wonder exactly where, and how deep the oil and gas fields are in the region, and what affect or hazard that an undersea volcanic eruption would present to that region. click on the link below for source and updates modernsurvivalblog.com/earthquakes/major-earthquake-swarm-off-yemen-trouble/

There is a tectonic plate that runs right through there, so it may just be a natural occurance. I say that cause theres one that runs right under New Zealand and its nothing unusual for them to get 20-30 minor deep quakes a week.
