Giant octopus- are just giant squid, altought octopus proberbly do get a hell of a lot bigger than we know.
Pterodactyls- I hope so, but I would think they are more likely to be found in south america/darkest africa than the US. I have seen a few of those civil war era photos and have yet see one proved real.
Mothman- I would really like to believe this, but proberbly not.
Jersey Devils- again would like to believe, but proberbly not.
Mokele Moembe- absolutely, theres a hell of a lot that could hide in the congo, I will always believe the local people over some scientist who goes there for a week and dosnt find it so its not there.
Giant anaconda- proberbly not, I would think a snake that could get to 50-60 feet would be a reticulated python.
Ogopogo/ nessie- would love to think this is real, and could well be.
Yeti-absolutely, there have been many reliable sightings by respected mountaineers of the yeti, right up to Sir Edmund Hilary.
Bigfoot- I will always believe that footage is real.
Thylacine- While I would like to believe we were not stupid enough to hunt this beautiful and unique animal to extintion, we proberbly did.

Arent they supposed to be cloning the thylacine or trying to? Yeah, they have some baby one preserved in a meusem, but I think bringing back to life is a long way off. Plus whats the point, they wouldnt have a gene pool to make a viable population. Its better just to leave it as a monument to our own stupidity. The sad thing is the Tassie Devil is now also in serious trouble, it is dying out due to a contagious tumor and no one has any idea why.
