Folks, Ive had a lot on conversations with my friends lately about food and about what they have made or what is made for them at home. My personal all time favorite meal that I make at home is a 5 peppercorn grilled striploin, with a drizzle of demi-glaze, garlic and chive infused duchesse potatoes, and Italian green beans.
I'd say it was to die for, but concrete would nail my ass.
I'd love to hear your stuff, and get some tips

Slith. Nailing is the last thing I'd do to your gay ass! ;D
However.
Since you asked.
I've got 2 or 3 things.
1. Slow roasted pork belly with crushed black pepper and sea salt, roasted on fresh garlic and sage leaves. With hand cut chips (fat fries) served with gravy made from the roasting pan. With steamed mixed veg (corn peas beans etc).
2. Leg of lamb with garlic, rosemary and lemon. Served with mashed/whipped potats, made with milk and cream cheese, and minty peas.
3. Cherry smoked BBQ ribs and beer. I don't have a proper smoker (yet). But, I've worked a way out to do it on a normal grill with a lid (with a little help). Serve it with whatever you fancy. The beer is for the cook.

Number 3 really works for me concrete. I've done the same thing, but I used orange brandy soaked wood chips. A very unique flavor
I'm not a huge lamb fan, but the one I like is a Greek style lamb chop. A Frenched (insert ironic icon) lamb chop, dipped in goats milk and coated with a bread crumb mix that includes oregano, lemon zest and feta cheese. I saute it in olive oil and finish it in the oven. I serve it with Greek roasted potatoes, a Mediterannean salad, a side of tzatziki and a glass of Inniskillin Merlot.
