A Nightmare on Elm Street Teaser Trailer A Nightmare on Elm Street teaser trailer was posted online at midnight EST on September 28, 2009, and will be attached to theatrical prints of Columbia Pictures' Zombieland which is released in theaters October 2, 2009. A Nightmare on Elm Street is an upcoming horror film directed by Samuel Bayer. It is a remake of Wes Craven's 1984 slasher film of the same name and designed to reboot the franchise.

the original nightmare is going to be hard to top! in its time this was a really original concept and the 1st movie was actually scary. i don't think that the dream demon -killer thing was ever used before this movie freddy was really a dark mother f***ker'.. a creepy murdering childmolester who was a rightful victim of vigilante justice who comes back to reap his revenge on his muderers children in thier dreams.. then it franchised and got campy cheezy all filler and cheezy one liners all they need ed was abbott and costello meet fredddy like most all movie franchises... they sucked. hopefully this movie will capture the original movies concept... another hollywood remake all this stuff rehashed... have they really run out of original ideas? rant and roll baby! lol

sucks robert england isnt the freddy in this. a lot of this movie was filmed out in the burbs of chicago here. i got a friend who was an assistant to the producer of the movie.

What happened to Robert Englund? I can't imagine another Freddy taking his place. Just wouldn't be the same...........

Yeah I am getting a bit sick of all this recycling stuff, to many remakes, not enough originals.
