All they really need to do is stick a refinery in the middle of the atlantic and wait for the oil to come to them.
"If you build it, it will come"

Update: www.theledger.com/article/20090902/NEWS/909025037/1410Guess what happens if they can't stop this leak? Now. With my limited knowledge of the oil buisness. When drilling on land, to get more oil out of a well, they pump water into the well to push more oil up and out. What would happen if the gulf waters began to seep into this well? Have a nice day.

Two things :- One, probably what you are thinking ! Two, you were wrong about your title !

Ok as some of you may know I'm a bit of a weather geek. Have a look at this. This is a low pressure system called Invest 93 which likely will become a tropical storm, possibly even a hurricane. The lines are six different projected directions it may go. Look at the GFDL (Blue) and HWRF (purple) lines. Now. This is a graph of the predicted windspeeds. The HWRF predicted course and winds aren't that bad. But look where The GFDL storm goes, and with winds predicted at near 70mph this may be a bit more sinister.

if anything this is going to cause such havoc to the same area, but could it be beyond the realms of possibility that other factors are targeting this piece of coastline along with the oil?
