Ok. Sorry the bird bought into the hype. We watched the b-ray on friday night.
Is it just me. Or, or was that every cowboy movie plot (but with the indians as the 'good-guys') mixed with a bit of Apocolypse now.
Either that. Or Fern gully done with computers.

"dances with na'vi" it did rehash elements from other movies.

HEY CRETE .. let me fill ya in EVERYHING IN HOLLYWOO IS RE-HASHED ... every generation or so they flood the world with remakes and renamed movies but its all the same shit ....same proven that work stories heres just 1 example 1950 's the last man on earth - vincent price , the 1970's the omega man -charlton heston , 2000's I am legend.- will smith ....all the same fukking movie sure they change a few twists or the name but overall same stuff.......and we keep payin to see them ..... the terminator.... original right .... a vertually unstoppable robot from the future mercilessly hunts down a human killing everything in its path well not original in a movie called WESTWORLD made in the 1970s a vertually unstoppable robot from dressed up from the past as a gunslinger mercilessly hunts down a human killing everything in its path hmmm wtf james Cameron ? hes also plans on remaking the classic sci fi film forbidden planet ,fantastic voyage , and the movie heavy metal... and thats just 1 frikkin guy in hollywood

proven story lines and overall plot points are the only way to get big budget movies funded.
fresh ideas and new ways of doing things are only applauded grudgingly when done independently of the studios.
