plans are already in the works for video games going 3d, leading the charge is of course, Sony soon to follow? i think microsoft would be the only other console maker that has the ability to pursue the 3d market right now. nintendo doesn't have the graphics power as playstation and xbox. 3d gaming will be in its 2nd or 3rd generation before nintendo even takes its first step.

Not sure which technology is to be the standard 3D for LCD TV, movies and games or if there is going to be a betamax vs VHS, PC vs Apple, HD vs Blu-ray type of competitive choice among 3D systems. So far, I hit 2 out of three coerrct choices (depending on point of view). Of game consoles, the little Nintendo DS system series has a 3D model already in proto and is expected to be a Christmas item in 2010. www.mercurynews.com/nation-world/ci_14893829?nclick_check=1

nintendo's announcement has been met with serious doubt. one its not much more than pseudo 3d........only a few games with low graphics can be played and the screen is far too small.
nintendo whenever getting left behind always pulls some gimmick on their hand helds. no one in the gaming industry is taking it serious.
as for which technology will be king when the dust settles.........who knows. we have at least 3-5 years before a clear cut winner will be recognized.

If I understand it correctly, their type of 3D (Nintendo) requires the user to be postioned at a specific distance and angle to get the effect. This type of requirement will make the product ok to some but usless to others. But thhe kids will beg for it anyway. And the age old problem of "lazy eye" will render the effect completely null. Now I do expect competition between MS and Sony, and we will have to wait and see which technology is used by the porn industry to get a clearer idea as to which will triumph.

porn has always set the standard for media. i'm thinking this is the rare instance when that will not be the case. i think porn will have wait along with the rest of us on this one.

3D enhanced tatas with nipple reaction, nice subtle effect for any movie or game.
