Giant 'Sea Serpent'.
A huge oarfish was caught on camera in the Gulf of Mexico, giving scientists a rare glimpse of the bizarre fish in its native deep sea habitat. Researcher Mark Benfield describes the fish, a likely inspiration for the sea serpent myth.

15-30 feet long, jesus, thats a big fish. I love these new creatures they keep finding down there, like this one, also filmed by a oil exploration team.
Makes my Giant Octopus thread seem plausable now dont it?

how would they be seen as how the myths were started?? did man go down to that level or depth in the sea before?lol I very much doubt they are in loch ness! ;D
that other one looks really alien!!
