The dance of planets: Venus and Jupiter meet in night sky
Footage filmed from Hawley in Texas on Saturday shows Venus and Jupiter appearing side by side low in the sky, in a so-called 'conjunction'.
The two planets reportedly appeared less than 1.5 degrees apart. The conjunction will last until Sunday, which is when the two celestial objects are expected to come closest together in the sky.
It is the third conjunction of the year, after the pairing of Venus and Jupiter in January as well as Venus and Saturn in February. On December 10, Venus and Saturn are set to appear just 1.8 degrees apart.
