This is the main question that I have about the site... Why has there not been better excavation of the site? It is also interesting to note that it is mainly strange shaped blocks that remain. I think perhaps more standardised blocks will have been hauled off to make structures elsewhere after the main destruction of the area. This has meant that larger and stranger shaped blocks remain as it is difficult to use them. It is I think difficult to look at a reconstruction model without further excavation and considering that it looks like so many of the blocks are not in their original place.
