Ok, I have to be careful here, I don't want to post the wrong sequence of words and end up on a watchlist, but here goes.
With the current level of hysteria surrounding Obama is it inevitable that someone will make an attempt on his life.
More importantly, if this does happen, when the people responsible are arrested will there defense be that people like O'Reilly, Hannity, Beck and Co, convinced them that Obama was out to destroy America. Is what Fox news are currently broadcasting responsible journalism, or is it inciting fear and hatred which could have the ultimate consequences.
Which brings me to Alex Jones, now hes a different story, he knows what type of people follow him, frankly the nutjobs.
Now I am all for freedom of speech, but when does this freedom become an incitement to violence. Alex Jones keeps urging people to "do something", to "stand up for America", isn't this just an incitement to violence. Is this any different to yelling "fire" in a crowded room. If you walked into a mental asylum and told the inmates that the nurses were trying to kill them and they should do something about it, then they killed the nurses, aren't you responsible for that violence.
I think the inevitable is coming and you can see the reasons all around us at the moment, the question is will someone be held accountable for it.

Damn good post darryl.
What I don't understand is the same people let bush destroy the country with a smile on their faces. Opposed Clinton but did so in a civil manner. Now we have people talking revolution, people inciting violence, people claiming the country is being taken from the citizens and sold to into socialism slavery..........
All of this in less than one presidential term.
Yes with all the fearmongering going on..........I'm afraid we probably will see an attempt on his life if not a success.
You know when people went overboard and accused bush of everything under the sun I chimed in and reminded them he had a lot of real things he had done wrong stick to those...........with Obama people's brains have leaked out their asses and they gave up being rational two months after he became president.
They're fears are over the top along with all of their oppositions to his positions. No president before this has ever had to deal with such craziness in their first term.........hell not many have ever had to deal with it at any point.
So why is it so bad with Obama? Honestly.........I really beginning to think the color of the mans skin is adding to the hysteria. Its not really racism........just an acute fear of a black man in charge.

Oh no you cant suggest that, then you yourself are accused of racism, I am sure thats not what its about for most people, but for some I am sure it is.
For some its just about being a right wing conservitive and not being able to handle a liberal in the white house, isnt that right spock........hehehehehehe.

Thats what I don't get, for eight years the Bush admin basically shat on the constitution and everybody sat back and said "oh but its for our safety", meanwhile your right to privacy, your protection from detention without trial all went out the window.
Now Obama is actually trying to do something good, and I emphasize TRYING, and everybody is calling him names. I just don't get it.
They all blame him for the economic crisis, which he really had very little to do with, the damage was done before he came to office and hes left to clean up the mess. What was he supposed to do with the car makers, let them fold and watch as hundreds of thousands of people lost their jobs.
I am not a fan of the way the bank bailouts worked, especially the controls on what happened to the money, but something had to be done, you just couldn't let the biggest banks in the country fall over, the effects would have been devastating.
Bush cloaked his new laws under the guise of protecting the people from terrorists, but what people failed to realize is that those laws applied to everybody, not just terrorists. You are a terrorist if the government says you are.
I just don't understand where all this indignation at the "stealing of America" was 8 years ago, when America really was under threat from an evil government.

I have no clue darryl. I just can't work out what obama has done that has driven the nation so berserk. Healthcare and economics........we have the same problem with every president. Why is Obama the one destroying the nation?
I've never played the race card and do so somewhat jokingly but the crazier it gets the more I have to wonder.

This is what I am talking about, creating hysteria.

It seems that there are some that are "stirring the hornets nest," to get an expected outcome. Steering us right into the very thing that we do not want. Civil disobedience, which invokes, marshall law, which invokes loss of more freedom- and then what? What happens from there. It seems that once marshall law is invoked, there is no turning back. Once the power is acheived, the holders of that power, will grasp it firm, will hold on for dear life, and will never, willingly let it go. Once we cross that bridge, it will be torn down, behind us.
What I want to know is, who is doing the stirring? There seems to be an indisputable effort, somewhere. Where is the center of that malstrom of cause and effect?

I really dont know where its coming from, but I would suggest its the former powers who didnt expect to lose office and are not happy about it. By the way I am not suggesting this is the "republican party"either, I dont think the republican party itself had a lot to do with the Bush precidency.

Ok, I still have a bit of conspiracy mindedness so forgive this little rant..........But......
I can even foresee a fake attempt which would most likely cause riots and so forth resulting in Marshal law...
