Statue does a 180 in its display case, freaks everyone out 1 day ago
Everyone should be freaking out, anyway. But since it's happening in stoic old England, the terror-amping pretty much crests at Manchester Museum curator Campell Price saying, "It would be great if someone could solve the mystery." Neb-Senu, a 10-inch-tall offering to Egyptian god of the dead Osiris — which was found in a mummy's tomb — somehow spins around in a perfect circle during the day without human help. Price has the only key to the display case and thinks there's eerieness afoot, based on the belief that if a mummy is destroyed the relic can be a vessel for the spirit. Killjoys, however, think the vibration from the footsteps of passing visitors is causing the movement. Our vote? Don't mess with a mummy. Yeah it looks like its vibration as its only happening through out the day while there is foot traffic.
