Just went back and rewatched the Fedor Andrei Arlovski fight.
I noticed that Fedor was slow and not in shape. Andrei had he pushed the action could have wore Fedor down. Andrei only lost the fight because he kicked Fedor and sent him into the corner then flew in like an idiot and got caught. Fedor didn't even throw the punch with with intention he simply threw in self defense and got lucky and caught Andrei.
I'm thinking Fedor's glory days are over. While he can continue to beat less than superstar fighters for a little while longer he can not stand up to the big boys and eventually will fall to someone of lesser quality.

Agree on this. And Arlovski isn't even close to what he once was either. He's dropped like a sack of shit. Fedor has always been a little pudgy, but he was a porker in this fight. Wonder if he could drop down to 205?

Skith to be honest he didn't even look like he wanted to be in the fight at that weight. I think he has gotten lazy and is surviving on his power alone now.
Andrei looked damn good. He just got careless and rushed in and payed for it.
I always loved Fedor. Its just his refusal to fight in the ufc that has made me question his heart. If you are not in shape in the ufc you get put down quick. Maybe he will get some heart back in strikeforce. We can only hope cause strikeforce isn't a chump league either although he can survive there longer than in the ufc with no heart.
