Theres different types of orbs from what i can tell. The indoor ones like this that could be dust or the spiritual kind depending on the case? and the outdoor ones of a UFO kind like these 2 i photo'd and many others that are dust, pollon,or misidentifide bugs, moths and such. If the orbs are indoor ones then they're small i would think, and as with any small object magnifying can produce optical gitches. I cant say much more without viewing the photos man!

I have seen orangish looking orbs several times very low, changing directions and even stopping. No noise, no strobes or nav lights. Hard to explain away..

I did Digital Photography as part of my Degree, which means I know sweet F all about this, ;D but... Most orbs that show up in digital photos are dust. Or should I say 'dust particles' like smaller than the naked eye can see. Very small but big enough to reflect light. This effect is even greater if a flash is used. The halo effect is caused because the objects are out of focus. On the other hand orbs captured on film are a different story. Film records slightly higher into infer-red than the human eye can see. Orbs captured on film are usually larger than those captured digitally. When we say infer-red don't think 'hot' think 'higher frequency'. The film is capturing light that is at a higher frequency than the eye can see. Some people can see higher frequencies, these people 'see dead people'. Some ghost hunters have their digital cameras modified so they are more sensitive in the infer-red light range. Digital cameras were designed to only record light in the range of human sight so that the digital photos file size can be as small as possible with out loosing quality.

Ahh well you can understand her not wanting the family posted all over internet, only post if you can find a way to block them out (people) as you don't know who might nick them!
