Deaf woman hearing own voice for first timeA video showing a deaf woman hearing her own voice for the first time with the help of a hearing implant has gone viral. Sloan Churman, 29, was born deaf and relied on reading lips until she received the surgically-implanted device eight weeks ago. After letting the implanted area to heal, Churman went into the doctor to have the device turned on. A bit of calibration later, she was able to hear her voice for the very first time and her husband captured the moment and posted on video-sharing website YouTube. In the video Churman can be seen crying as she hears sounds, including her own voice and her husband's laughter. Though she'd been wearing hearing aids since the age of two, Churman said they "only help so much". au.news.yahoo.com/queensland/a/-/world/10384107/emotional-video-shows-woman-hearing-own-voice-for-first-time/Wow, that is just wonderful.

Good cheerful story, tears of joy, reminds me for some reason about a fella who was blind from birth, he was clowning around in his house and hit his head hard on the wall, which restored his sight, Miracles happen its just we are over saturated with too much bad news.
