Yeah, he did a good job, but as you say, maybe they were seeing UFOs and interpreting them as God, big light or craft in the sky would be interpreted as God in those days.

Is this an Et or a lotus plant? This one is more difficult to explain of ? UFOs over Basel.

ask a child where heaven is.....99% of the time they point up. why is god associated with "UP"? up = space or the universe? if it is truly another place, heaven, why would it be up in space? either way it seems god is from space.....

now if god is from space .. and he created the universe .. where was he before he created it? as for these paintings they re ufos by any defintion of the term the truth is they are unidentified the only way would be to ask the original artist but they re all dead so they remain unidentified flying objects someone must have whitnessed something back in those days since there were no cameras they painted the images, people put them in there for a reason ....

yeah i am sure in those days there was a tendencies to anthropmorphise anything they couldn't explain.
