Not that impressive I know esp compared to the ones in other countries. BUT its not the norm in the UK. A mini tornado circled above seas along the Brighton coast this morning.
The mini twister was spotted spiralling over the sea close to the Brighton coast at around 10am this morning.
Rafe Oxley spotted the natural phenomena which lasted for only a few minutes as he walked over Hollingbury hill fort.
He said: “It was quite thin and narrow but it stretched all the way down to the sea.
“I’ve never seen anything like that in Brighton before.”
A Met Office spokesman said the twister was caused by convection currents in gathering storm clouds and that winds inside the tornado could reach up to 60mph. www.theargus.co.uk/news/9074617.Tornado_spotted_from_Brighton/?ref=mr

Is it warm in England right now? I live near oxford and its bloody cold cold cold, nasty wind, buckets of rain, but we're in a drought? It's nothing like summer They say we need 5 weeks of constant rain to replenish dry spell!
