Francis Scott Key Bridge Collapse in Baltimore, MD (March 26, 2024)
Reminds me of this bridge collapse due to a ship hitting it.
The Skyway bridge collapsed 40 years ago. Here’s how we’re remembering the tragedy.
"The first Skyway bridge opened 66 years ago" It opened up in 1954. It was an old bridge, due for a rebuild, just like many other bridges in Florida along with many others throughout the U.S.! The infrastructure throughout the U.S. is great need of repair or replacement. Follow the money trail and find out who paid for the new one in Tampa Bay Florida and the future "replacement" for the one in Baltimore. I've have travel over both of them in the past and saw my first waterspout out in the Gulf of Mexico while going over the old one.
