The native Americans and the Aboriginies(sp) have some very deep lore. The Hopi indians of North America have some pretty amazing prophetic stories and visions about the end of the world. Most base cultures around the world share many similarities with these ideals. Interesting to say the least

Interesting to say the least Yeah I am not conviced about this end of the world thing, the mayan calender and 2012 and all that. Shit, the calender had to end sometime, my calender ends on the 31st december 2009, should I be worried. I shall be the first to post on 23rd December 2012, I may even go to the top tip of NZ and see the first sunrise. And if we do get hit by a giant asteroid ( something I do believe will happpen one day) on the 22nd, we will all have more worries than calling me an indiot for not believeing. |

They are also mentioned in the bible a few times including the Exodus of the Jews! they come across a race of giants the last survivers of a race and this area is where the skeletons in the British museum where found!
There have also been large hammers and tools found in Britain and other places that are to big for a normal Human bieng to use!
There is definatley something in this!
All Races around the world talk of Giants once living!
There are also supposed to be skeletons in the Grand Canyon that have been found and have been hidden!

hey don't know about your pappy but there are huge skeletal remains found all over the world in tombs many are in the south west usa buried in mounds and they have 2x rows of teeth some are 10 12 15 feet tall.... pretty interesting stuff Actually, while reasearching this topic, those were the main refferences I came across, the south western american ones, that is interesting, with indian legends to back up the claims. Unlike most historians these days, I put a lot of faith in the stories of indigenous people. agreed. these giants were definatly real but where did they come from? |

I think there have been many species of humans running around, from giants to the so called "hobits". I saw a good show the other day about a new species of people in Indonesia who lived until 1000 years ago. Thier discovery has led people to believe that evolution can happen a hell of a lot quicker than is generally believed, in centuries, not thousands of years. Unfortunatly our wretched little species seems to have wiped out all these starnge and wonderful peoples, whats new uh. We seem to delight in wiping out species. |

I believe thats called gigantism, my great grandfather was over 7 foot, that dosnt make him a different species.........actually that may explain a lot about my family history. Interesting topic, Blacky! Yes Gigantism is Acromegaly a disorder of the Pituitary growth hormone, like the guy in the Bond movies of the 1980's called 'Jaws' Richard Kiel These people have large defined jaws and long bones but 7 foot or so is the general limit not 11 + feet. Is there a theory that the giants were possibly larger than mankind of today due to richness in the air quality and the food on Earth many years ago?, or is it down to Hybrid mixing of Homo sapien with ET? |
