Holy shit Drex! Sonnen was the man. We almost had to put on our tutus for all to see. I was training for the triple sal cow throw, and would have asked that you throw me into the stands to be beaten to a pulp by the masses. Phew!!!!! Dodged a bullet there. Thank God!
It was a great card. Better than most lately. I was surprised with Hughes. WTF, he's as old as me and pulls this off? Wow!

here's the thing. silva looked bad from the start. by that i mean he just looked unhealthy. he was not the same silva we know. he looked extremely weak. at the end of the fight we find out that he was advised by the doctor not to fight. dana didn't want to hear it. he had spent too much time and money getting sonnen on television so he could trash talk. dana doesn't care for silva because anderson and his camp do not bow down before him. dana is looking to get silva out of the picture anyway he can. even if it means pressuring silva to fight while he was very sick.

dana found something out tonight..........even though he was being beaten in every round the crowd kept chanting "silva". they never turned their back on anderson. dana sneered at one point during the chanting as though he was telling the crowd they were idiots. dana will now hook himself to silva's wagon. it's an old don king move. always show up with the champ and leave with the champ..........no matter which fighter it is.

hughes was a trip. he had actually knocked almeida out on his feet. the anaconda was just for good measure. we'll see how far he gets now. i personally don't care for him. i did cheer him on when he beat the shit out of gracie and shut him and the whole gracie clan up. all 1.5 million of them. i swear the gracies do nothing but fuck and fight. the word condom must not translate well.

roy nelson may have lost but that fucker is a fighter. i gained a lot of respect for him. he weebled and he woobled but he didn't fall down.

Roy took a beating, but he's a tough son of a bitch and will live to fight another day. Hughes, I can't stand the arrogant fucker and yes he won, but he's going nowhere.
Silva was dehydrated and such. Sure. But when you have 6 months to prepare for a fight and you can't cut the weight in a healthy fashion, time to move up a class.
