Here is another report on UFO's, or what in this particular case is actually a star, or possibly the planet Venus. One seeing this the video footage of the star may swear (there are still those who swear it is a UFO being operated by Aliens, although if they were with me when I shot the footage they would probably agree it is in fact a star) that though it's perceived shape shifting and color shifts, it is some kind of Alien Spacecraft. I am doing this short series to show that many of the UFO videos on the Internet today are simple anomalies, frame refractions, Camera lens's trying to focus, Lens flare, light variations due to atmospheric conditions, and visual distortions due to atmospheric convection . I do admit that I have seen some videos and photos that even with advanced technology and near pro editing gear to analyze the video or photo, I cannot explain the ... and those are the ones that truly fascinate Get the whole story and watch in High Definition at wisconsinconfidential.blogspot.com/2009/09/ufo-in-wisconsin-or-venus.html

Good stuff marcel, a lot of people really do not know what is in the night sky, this is interesting, I do not put much faith in simple "lights in the sky" videos anymore. The lights need to moving in strange ways or doing something unusual for me to take a lot of notice.

I'd like to see more vids like this, not to be negative but as a form of education to all, this would help hone our detective skills.

I will be working on them. Hope to have a new out every two or so weeks. The next one may get expensive. I am going to check out the "Paulding Light" with a retired Veteran Homicide Detective. He is what could be called a "Critical believer" too.

Should be interesting.
Quote....
Nearly every clear evening, strange circular spheres of light dance on the horizon of the tiny community, and at one point seem to follow the pathway of electrical lines.
The lights have been captured on film by Michigan Magazine and Channel Six News out of Marquette. Experts from Ripley's have been to the location to examine the phenomenon.
At the location of the Paulding lights, the Michigan Forest service has put up signs which indicate the best area from which the lights can be seen. So far, no logical conclusions have been reached. The lights have been witnessed as being red, white and green. These lights are not to be confused with the Northern Lights. They are a phenomenon that is unique to Paulding, Michigan.
Locals say the lights have been viewed for a long time. Eye witnesses claim to have seen the lights way back at the turn of the century, while on their way to the train depot at Watersmeet.
Various legends have developed concerning the lights. One myth explains the lights as the ghost of a railroad brakeman, while other say it is the ghost of an Indian dancing on the power lines. Some locals attest to the fact that the lights start over Lake Superior and make their way inland. The public is welcome to view the strange lights.

And possibly swamp gas. And as Jesse Ventura stated in the Xfiles (his Men in Black partner was the Game show host Alex Trebek), "if you say it was anything other than Venus or swamp gas, your a Dead Man"! Then they back out in their classic old black car (always wondered what model that was?). I still love that scene.

The footage of Venus is beautiful.
Do you think that she is growing brighter than in years past?

I know that Vega is going (or has actually millions of years ago gone super nova and it is now gone) super nova or dying. The light is just reaching us now. We know that Venus is just fine as it is in our Solar System. So what we are seeing is most likely due to Atmospheric Convection. As it reaches a lower angle, the flicker effect begins to increase. Although, I am not 100% positive that what we are looking at in this video is in fact Venus.
