i've been informed they are special effects artists not miracle workers.
just stepped out of the house for moment and its already raining ice. not really sleet or hail just lightly frozen rain drops. this is actually very important. when we do get snow around here it rarely ever sticks. with this frozen rain coming down it will help prepare and freeze the ground. when the snow falls it should then stick and accumulate.
there has only been one other occasion since i've been alive where we had snow stick. it happened way back in the early 90s and it stuck because we got the tail end of a severe blizzard heading east. this could possibly be the second occasion if everything continues as it is.

You live in Bundeberg, I can imagine they dont get much snow up that way.
Right, iamgine being very cold, now imagine being wet and cold, thats pretty much snow.
I used to walk two miles to school in the snow when I was a kid, in shorts, no jumper, with holes in my shoes, so no, snow dosnt excite me very much.

You mean very cold like 6 degrees c. It does get down to minus zero here, but not in my lifetime. I know it might sound strange to you but I have never thought of snow as being wet just cold. I have heard that it is warm after it has finished snowing. And I have heard it is pretty to look at.

It melts Wes, on you, you get wet, plus it only feels warm once hypothermia sets in.
