waaaay back in the day when i first started tinkering with video i used to use feed back loops for crazy special effects. the distance and angle of the camera can create numerous visuals. i've always been intrigued and creeped out by the claim of capturing dead people on a tv. if there are spirits and they are around then there should be a way to tap into their energy. i am not a general skeptic of paranormal things i usually evaluate each claim case by case. . did you ever capture any anomilous images? i think you have to go frame by frame.. i know there arent really frames with vid but ...

I really do think the mind tries to make sense of random images, creating order form disorder, turning something random into something familiar.

For me this is an excellent thread, from the feed back loop point of view i would not have thought the spirit should need any help. When watching television people have termed the phrase "ghosting" ,this occurs when the picture is delayed for want of a better terminology. That is one of the reasons why we are going to digital i believe. As for fire, smoke, water and probably clouds much more interesting because they derive from basic elements. When viewing 9/11 footage on hundreds of occasions not once did i see such images.also they look doctored.
But what do i know, apparently we think in picture form.
