'Aye, and theres the rub' All the documents have been released (the ones we are allowed to see) by the CIA who have kept them for near 50 years. From the sheer amount of them, it would take another 50 to find out just what did happen. But. By making laws against people who question and are not allowed to investigate. Really raises a serious question. What is being hidden, and why? I'm not sure what exactly are you getting at?what is the point of this thread?

No your right shatner, I have great problems with people who "deny" the holocaust, but then I also have great problems with censorship of any kind.

I'm not sure what exactly are you getting at?what is the point of this thread? The section is called prove your theory. I put out a theory that 6million jews were not killed in WW2. In many European countries, you can go to jail for raising the question. There is a huge difference in denying it happened, and questioning 'official' numbers. It happened, I know it did. But I don't believe the numbers are as high as we've been told. If I'm wrong. I'm wrong. Prove me wrong.

But I don't believe the numbers are as high as we've been told. If I'm wrong. I'm wrong. Prove me wrong. well I think that you proved nothing...all you really did was make the statement that you don't think that numbers were right .that is not a theory ,it is an opinion . you are challenging a well established and documented historical event. while I respect your right to put forth your ideas an opinions, the burden of proof of any theory you may engage yourself in clearly falls in your lap not mine. you are dealing with historical facts backed up by hundreds if not thousands of eye witness testimony and documentation which you are challenging .you need to prove your theory by factual data prove that your idea is sound and accurate and prove that all those eye witnesses are wrong. you have not .as for going to jail ,I think that free speech is paramount and peoples opinions. right or wrong should never be suppressed so please continue with your hopefully unbiased research and let us all know what you come up with.I wish you luck, happy hunting

Whatever the numbers, the fact that a law exists to prevent investigation of one of the most significant events of the 20th century should definitely raise some eyebrows. I recently got into a heated argument on DTV with Zioncon76. He started pm'ing me, calling me out for calling him an anti-semite and asked me to look into things for myself. I did so and all i will say is that this is dangerous territory and i was forced to admit the guy had loads of valid points. Irrespective of certain facts i encountered, it is not a subject i would challenge purely because of societies reactions to questioning the holocaust is scary to say the least. Sure, genocide is a terrible thing...obviously but to be imprisoned for asking questions is ridiculous and quite scary to be honest.
