This is much larger than it might seem on the surface. This means that the worlds largest Medical Journal "JAMA" is changing its tune. I think they can hear the cries for Nuremberg II every night in their sleep (should they get any at all) Discussion The limitations of the study were its short-term nature in a laboratory-like setting and the fact that children were not occupied during measurements and might have been apprehensive. Most of the complaints reported by children3 can be understood as consequences of elevated carbon dioxide levels in inhaled air. This is because of the dead-space volume of the masks, which collects exhaled carbon dioxide quickly after a short time. This carbon dioxide mixes with fresh air and elevates the carbon dioxide content of inhaled air under the mask, and this was more pronounced in this study for younger children. This leads in turn to impairments attributable to hypercapnia. A recent review6 concluded that there was ample evidence for adverse effects of wearing such masks. We suggest that decision-makers weigh the hard evidence produced by these experimental measurements accordingly, which suggest that children should not be forced to wear face masks. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamapediatrics/article-abstract/2781743

it seems the FDA has done a u turn too The FDA document, dated May 19, 2021, is titled: “FDA In Brief: FDA Advises Against Use of SARS-CoV-2 Antibody Test Results to Evaluate Immunity or Protection From COVID-19, Including After Vaccination”. [1] [1a] Digging a little deeper in the document, we have a statement referring to the COVID vaccine: “The authorized vaccines for prevention of COVID-19 induce antibodies to specific viral protein targets; post-vaccination antibody test results will be negative in individuals without a history of previous natural infection if the test used does not detect the type of antibodies induced by the vaccine.” In other words, the FDA is saying, “Look, the vaccine creates specific antibodies against the spike protein, not the virus. If you take the standard antibody test after vaccination, it’ll be useless, because the test isn’t meant to detect antibodies against the spike protein. It only detects antibodies against the virus [2].” www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/fda-brief-fda-advises-against-use-sars-cov-2-antibody-test-results-evaluate-immunity-or-protection

In the UK :
'Antibody tests are currently only offered to NHS and care staff, as well as some hospital patients and care home residents. They can also be bought privately, but it’s important to be aware of their limitations. These tests are not used for diagnosis but rather to give us a better understanding of the prevalence of the virus in different places.'
'Antibody testing in particular has limitations, largely because there is a lot we don’t yet know about immunity to COVID-19.
For example, we don’t yet know whether: - antibodies protect you from getting COVID-19 in the future
- antibodies stop you from passing the virus on to others
- having a negative antibody test means you have never been infected'
