After over a week of having my computer fried and having to do a complete reinstall, and hooking up a laptop and an external to save my shit, I am finally back up and running and not having to type from my freaking iPhone.
Anyway - awesome you're here lucid!

Welcome senior member Lucid Spock : ) Lucid Spock??? OH NO! Here we go again! I think I shall start calling spock daddy spock cause well, you know how spock's are so fatherly. But then Drex is pimp daddy supreme so that could get confusing....Nevermind! How do you pronounce your screen name? I want to say ardvarks but there is no r at the end.......Is that a word from another country? Oh, and the Senior Member..........I think it is an age thing made to make us feel old! Blacky and I have already had birthdays.......You too will be Senior just keep clickin those keys!

Yes can all be very confusing as Spock was a red Indian and now is well Mr Spock pointed ears and all. You are Liucid so will associate with the big pointy wings maaam. You are right with the Ardvarks pronounciation also spelling is differant, the Nocturnal burrowing animal Aardvaak, is from Africa and is also a name of a football team. Truth be known with a name like Aardvaaks if lists are done in alphabetical order I always appear first, how shallow ; ) I shall heed your advice and keep clicking these keys, but I quite like being a newee/junior!

An aardvark is a very unusual looking animal, I wonder what it would be like to see one in real life. the one in your pic looks so humble!
Confusion is okay, keeps us having something to discuss for clarity, eh?

Yes the Aardvaak is odd looking but cute too in a bitter sweet fashion not much hair I suppose to aid it digging and its shy and retiring a bit like me, but with hair... I am yet to see one in the wild but reckon it would give the same buzz as seeing a group of Meercats standing upright together. I saw in the English channel last month a pod of porpoises..awesome!
I like your pics also and the 3 dimensional info at the end. I have been into collecting crystals for some time now and particulary like the quartz single and double terminated crystals if they arent too expensive, but then they are the grandaddy of all crystals, is that right?

I have seen those meercats on tv, quite the trip the way they stand straight like they are expecting something! Porpoises, everyone loves a porpoise. I have a favorite double terminated Tibetan smokey quartz, what is interesting about it is that the ones from that area have all they smoke concentrated in the center of the stone!

Its interesting and I didnt know this till recently, that crystals can clear if they are energised in water or sunlight, but I dont think this is every case? Its also interesting as you wrote that the smoke is concentrated in the centre. I dont suppose you have any amber with an insect encased in the middle? Would be worth a mint to Dickie Attenborough!
